Lifestyle is determined to reach out to people with a desire to learn, live, love and serve God.

Lifestyle Christian Ministries is a non-denominational multicultural ministry located on the southeast side of Houston, Texas. We minister to all age groups and believe that each person needs a balance life as well as knowing and understanding the purpose for which they were created.

Our Mission

We believe that we all have a purpose to fulfill and we should be adequately equipped with the tools that will help us in fulfilling that purpose.  We strive to be readily available to assist our membership and the neighboring communities through mentoring, spiritual guidance and development.

Vision

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.

Values

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

Our History

  1. Founded in 2004 by Pastors Ken and Leslie Yudigit, with a small group of family and friends
  2. Gathered around town until 2006 when we purchased our first building
  3. By 2009 we outgrew our first building, and moved into our second building
  4. Due to exponential growth, we started a building construction project in Summer of 2016
  5. Moved into new building in Fall of 2017

What We Believe

Lifestyle Christian Ministries of Houston believes in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teaching. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the ministry is to tell the world about Christ through Christian lifestyle.

Ministry Team

Rev. George Knight

Lead Pastor 

Rev. George Knight is the lead Pastor of Lifestyle Christian Ministries in Houston, Texas, which he and his wife organized in February of 2012.  Pastor Knight has over thirty-four years of ministry experience and has served in all areas of church leadership and ministry from age sixteen.

 

He has done studies with Trinity Theological Seminary, College of Bible Studies in Houston Texas and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University. Pastor Knight is a certified Life Coach and is also a certified SYMBIS Facilitator (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment.

 

Pastor Knight has been married to the lovely Dawn Joseph-Knight for the past 25 years. The Lord has blessed them with five beautiful children that is actively involved in ministry with their parents, Melissa, Charity, Josiah, Joyelle and Natalia.
